30-minutes genetic counselling

If you need a genetic expert to help you understand how to benefit from knowing your DNA, this is for you.

In this video meeting, an experienced genetic counsellor will:

  • introduce you to DNA and how to benefit from it
  • answer your questions
  • give initial guidance on your genetic predisposition

Note that we will not comment on any test results that are not from Eiira.

The topic of genetic testing and preventive genetic health is new to most of us. The most natural first step for some is to talk to an expert.

In the 30 minutes video meeting with one of our highly experienced genetic counsellors, the counsellor will:

  • introduce you to the topic of genetic testing and preventive genetic health
  • answer your questions
  • give preliminary guidance on your genetic predisposition if you provide information about yourself and your family tree
  • help you to choose an appropriate product for you if you wish to

Many of us are more comfortable speaking to an expert before purchasing a product. This helps you to understand what genetic tests and risk assessment are, what to expect, and how you can benefit. You’ll first use our family tree tool to share your family and medical history. One of our genetic counselors will examine your input before the video or phone meeting with you. Then, in a 30-minutes meeting, the counselor will discuss your:

  • General concerns about the genetic test and predisposition or risk mappings
  • Potential risks, if any, based on your family tree
